This renovation allowed us to create a beautiful new addition to the back of a classic home in Petersham.

For this project, we constructed a small yet detailed LVL (Laminated Veneer Lumber) frame, which included the floor frames, wall frames, and a roof frame. We incorporated custom CNC-cut wall plates that enabled us to achieve impressive curved walls and clean, symmetrical skylights.

Next, we moved on to the cladding package, which included all window flashings, sarking, tapes, and a ventilated cavity. The team then installed Mortlock Shou Sugi Ban timber cladding on most of the extension, with bare stone filling in the remaining areas.

The interiors of the extension were completed with sleek shadow line skirtings and EzyJambs in the laundry area. We finished everything off with a stunning spotted gum deck and a free-standing carport.
